Variety has reported that Katie Thurston, a well-known TV personality who previously appeared as a contestant on “The Bachelor” Season 25 and later starred in “The Bachelorette” Season 17, has joined the cast of the third season of “FBoy Island.”

The show revolves around three women who relocate to a tropical paradise and are joined by a group of 26 men. Among them are 13 self-proclaimed “Nice Guys” in search of genuine love, while the other 13 are self-proclaimed “FBoys” competing for a cash prize. Together, the women explore the dating pool, hoping to make a lasting connection. The season concludes by revealing who among the men is a Nice Guy or an FBoy, who the women ultimately choose, and who walks away with the prize money.

Katie Thurston rose to prominence as a contestant on “The Bachelor” Season 25, where Matt James ultimately selected Rachael Kirkconnell as his partner. Thurston later took on the role of the Bachelorette in Season 17, becoming engaged to Blake Moynes. Unfortunately, their relationship came to an end a few months later. Thurston then dated another participant, John Hersey, but revealed that their relationship had ended after seven months.

The first two seasons of “FBoy Island” aired on HBO Max in 2021 and 2022, respectively. However, the series was canceled in December. Excitingly, in May, the CW announced that it had picked up “FBoy Island” for its third season and also greenlit a spinoff called “FGirl Island.”

Produced by STXtelevision, “FBoy Island” was created by Elan Gale, who serves as an executive producer for Year Of Elan Productions alongside Jason Goldberg for STXtelevision. The show also features Noah Fogelson, Bob Simonds, and Nikki Glaser, who acts as the host.
