Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s latest film, “SatyaPrem Ki Katha,” experienced a decline in box office collections on Thursday. According to trade records, the movie earned Rs 3.15 crore nett on its eighth day of release in Indian theaters.
As per Box Office India, the romantic drama directed by Sameer Vidwans has accumulated a total of Rs 53.36 crore nett in India until now. The film had a decent opening on June 29, collecting Rs 9.25 crore nett on its first day. Despite a slight drop in collections on the following Friday (Rs 7 crore nett), it managed to achieve double-digit figures over the weekend, earning Rs 10.10 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 12.15 crore nett on Sunday.
On its first Monday, the film earned Rs 4.21 crore nett, followed by Rs 4.05 crore nett on Tuesday and Rs 3.45 crore nett on Wednesday. The movie joined the esteemed Rs 50-crore club at the box office on its seventh day of release. “SatyaPrem Ki Katha” revolves around the story of Satyaprem, also known as Sattu (played by Kartik), who is deeply in love with Katha (portrayed by Kiara). The film also includes notable performances by Gajraj Rao, Supriya Pathak, and Shikha Talsania in supporting roles.
